November 7, 2013 by Eric and Chris

Like the Universe itself, the Internet operates around a collection of laws and natural tendencies. One of the big ones is that once a blog is created, it cannot be destroyed – its energy can only be transferred.

In other words, we've been pretty busy here at Intersites. As winter closes in and you find yourself retreating indoors, looking for something worthwhile to read that will help to inform you of this new and exciting digital age in which we live, you can rest assured that Suite 131 will have you covered.

We're continuing the re-branding process we started last year. Big changes are in store for the company and our customers. Exciting changes, like more services (especially for budget minded clients), updates on our PARIS process, improved project management, and more fun!

The Internet is rife with cheap web hosts that advertise rates as low as $3/month, but what these web hosts don't advertise is that you'll be sharing your space with a bunch of strangers who probably aren't bothering to make sure that their websites are secure. Think that can’t affect you? Think again. Shared hosting plans are only as secure as their least secure website. Kind of like how living with roommates is only as enjoyable as the sloppiest and most inconsiderate roommate. Or kind of like how buying your own home – i.e., a Dedicated Server – is inconceivably superior. And, these days, not that much more expensive. Read on →

As always, we welcome your feedback and thoughts. If there's something you're interested in or wondering about, let us know! We'll do our best to provide you with the resources or knowledge you're looking for. If you don't want to receive this monthly email you can unsubscribe by emailing us back.

Until next month, Happy Internet!
